Where: Tilden Regional Park
When: 8/8/2015 – Meet 9:15 AM at Center St & Shattuck Ave by Downtown Berkeley BART station. Bus departs at 9:30 AM
Why: If you want to get away from the city environment and get the chance to explore a different scenery in the Berkeley Hills, this is a good opportunity to do so.

What to Bring:
• Your Cal1Card, which is also a bus pass (available at the Photo ID office, 180 Chavez Center in Lower Sproul Plaza). If you don’t have a pass, bring the correct change for the bus fare:
Youth (Age 5-18): $1.05 (payable on board)
Adult (Age 19-64): $2.10 (payable on board)
• A bag lunch and water. (Fast food is available for purchase at the Merry –Go-Round.)
• $10-$15 if you want to ride the Merry-Go-Round and buy fast food (more if you want to buy something in the gift shop in the Environmental Education Center).
• Celery and/or lettuce if you’d like to feed the cows, ducks, goats, etc. at the Little Farm.
It might be helpful to also bring:
Sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, jackets

Certificates confirming the successful completion of the ESL 6, 7, 8, or 9 courses are available for a printing fee of $5 per copy (unframed). Cash only. Exact change please.
Requesting a Certificate:
Fill out all the information on the Completion Certificate Request Form (http://goo.gl/forms/XSIA4fBdzD) — open now! Click on Submit. You will receive an email confirmation. Print that email, and bring it with your payment to the table in the lobby outside Wheeler 112.
Payment is accepted on
Tuesday, August 4 – Thursday, August 6.

You may pick up your certificates on

Important: You must be a student in the Summer English Language Studies program to request a certificate. Your course and instructors’ names will not be on your certificate. These will be on your official transcript.
